“There are no limitations to the mind except those that we acknowledge.” Napoleon Hill
Some History:
Two important books to me:
The Singularity is Near by Ray Kurzweil – The concept of humans transending biology is what I consider to be a new belief system for today, but that which will have a profound effect on humanity in the future. (lots of future blog topics to come from this)
Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. – again, another belief system which is summed up by the secret in the title.
Blogs that have influenced me:
Mistersugar – by Anton Zuiker, a college buddy. It’s the first blog I ever read. And it opened my eyes to the world of blogging, open source software, and contribution. (thanks Anton!)
Avc – by Fred Wilson. The first VC blog I ever read. I remember being amazed by the fact that all these people were giving away the bank. “Why would these people be giving away all of their ideas like that?”, I often thought. Now I understand.
BubbleGeneration – by Umair Haque. I am always intrigued by people who attempt to tell what the future will hold. Umair is no exception. He has opened my eyes to what I have always felt was true, but could never put together in a coherent thought process. Umair has very effectively wrapped up the dynamics of the changing economics of media into a very potable discipline.

Uma and I are in the home stretch. Our twins are coming somewhere around the first two weeks of July. Thus, my “contribution” to the blogosphere will continue to be sporadic at best.
Nevertheless, there are all sorts of things going on these days. And there are so many things I yet want to do! I’ve […]

Hi Jim,
Just wondering how you’re doing out there in Cyberspace. I just read an article about how Second Life is helping Autistic people, very interesting. I’ve been TOO busy lately but I haven’t totally forgotten about you. I’ll catch up with you sometime soon.
